Between us

There's always something between us, my love: a locked door, an endless corridor, an ocean of emotion. There you are in the middle. Is it spring, or are we still stuck in winter? I can see you somewhere in the blizzard, waving hello. In my heart, something crushed, like a vase falling down, breaking into million pieces. And suddenly you grow further away, you are up and I'm down. This feeling I've buried years ago, is now busting in, I'm falling head over heels. Do you recognize me, my love, do you trust your feelings now? Does it make you happy to know you were right about me all along, somewhere deep down does it hurt you,

that there's always something between us?
