Game of the heart

I’ve lost hours, days, weeks, months, years looking for the one, I gave all that I had to make them stay and give me the love I dreamed of: late night calls, morning texts, holding hands, unexpected kisses, flowers for no reason, I love yous that meant something... yet at the end they always leave me behind as if my heart is a toy, fake love, fake love, that’s what I get in a world full of people wearing so many different masks, it’s a roleplay to love and to be loved, it’s a game someone always has to lose at the end.
