Nights like this

Few days ago, I was walking down the street,

with a cigarette in my hand,

and a dream in my head-

my heart skipping a beat.

Aching to fly back to The City,

where nobody knew who I was-

everything on pause,

in a world so messy yet pretty.

Let me forget,

what happened here,

with no fear, I will move far

and never regret every word- unsaid.

Lovers we never will be,

for friendship don't even dream,

it makes me want to scream-

you put your hands on me.

I was walking down the street,

with a cigarette in my hand,

when you said:

"trick or treat"!

Nobody saw the masquerade-

it was all a game you played,

with rules that took years to be made,

if you believe the wolf, you'll get paid.

FALL IN....

the trap

of the rich.
