Sadness

If Sadness had a name,

if love could speak,

if our hearts didn't feel pain,

if loneliness makes us feel happy,

if being happy meant something,

if euphoria had a face,

if what if's didn't exist,

if the sun could meet the moon,

if spring came a little bit earlier,

if winter wasn't so cold.

If only sadness wasn't her name,

and you weren't the one to blame-

what if's wouldn't cause her pain,

and one day...

happiness will mean something.
